Trabajando
Unidos is a community coalition coming together to empower the
Lafayette Latino Communities by uniting community members and
organizations through networking, advocacy, and action.
Trabando Unidos membership consists of Lafayette residents, human
service providers, community organizations and individuals who are
committed to the TU Mission Statement.
Members are organized into two catagories:
"Core Members"
Approximately 20 folks who have committed to attending monthly meetings in order to help make decisions.
To become a Core Member, simply attend a regular meeting on the first Thursday of each month, from 8:30am-10:30am, in the Lafayette Public Library meeting room (North Entrance)
"Friends of TU" Friends of TU are folks who do not attend regular meetings but wish to receive TU meeting minutes and be informed about upcoming meetings and related events. Friends may also be called upon in case urgent support is needed.
